Lymph Drainage Massage

Reduce Inflammation and Promote Circulation

AO Surgical Arts / Skin Care / Lymph Drainage Massage

Face & Neck Lymph Drainage Massage

Due to disease, injury, stress or surgery the body may be overwhelmed resulting in a condition called edema. Edema is an unusual accumulation of fluid in the soft tissues that can be temporary and mild or serious. In certain cases lymph drainage massage (LDM), may be used to help stimulate the body’s ability to reduce toxicity due to edema. LDM is a gentle, rhythmic style of massage that mimics the action of the lymphatic system. It is a very relaxing treatment utilizing precise rhythmic massage which mechanically moves fluid, like squeezing water through a tube. It also stimulates the lymph vessels to contract, starting the lymphatic pump so the lymph circulation will continue on its own.

Even without the presence of edema or swelling, LDM may benefit the circulatory system increasing oxygen flow and nutrients to skin cells. Charlie utilizes both manual (vodder) and mechanical (synergie) LDM techniques. Warm towels and quiet reflective music round out this relaxing treatment experience.

I’ve had serval microdermabrasions from excellent estheticians in the past.  Your treatment was the best I’ve had — bar none. It’s obvious you’ve had years of experience. You provide such a thorough treatment and have such a wonderful personality. Thank you so much. I almost wish my skin was worse just so I could come in for more treatments.
